    Governance

Our Local Schools Committee plays a vital role in strengthening the connection between each school and the wider Trust community. Acting in an advisory capacity, the committee provides valuable insight and guidance at the individual school level, ensuring that each school remains responsive to the needs of its pupils, staff, parents and carers and the local community.

The Local Schools Committee supports the Trust Board and school leaders by advising on strategies for school improvement, with a particular focus on strengthening relationships with the local community and enhancing communication across all stakeholders. Through this collaborative approach, the Local Schools Committee helps to ensure that every school within the Trust remains a vibrant, inclusive, and well-connected hub at the heart of its local area. The LSC meets regularly with members visiting the school on a termly basis.
